Sarah’s poetry has been published in various books, magazines and websites including #MeToo (Fair Acre Press), Slow Things (The Emma Press), The Interpreter’s House, Prole and South Bank Poetry.

Flash Fiction

Sarah rekindled her love of creative writing in 2013 and won a national writing competition with a piece of flash fiction, taken from a prompt set by Lionel Shriver (We Need to talk about Kevin). Several other pieces of flash fiction have been published online.


Sarah script-edited (in English and French) Mémoires d’un Amnésique by Amusia Productions, a piece of theatre based on the life and writings of the composer, Erik Satie.

She is currently working on a the script for Amusia’s new production, Who Killed Cornelius Cardew?


Sarah works with Alex Metcalfe, collaborating on lyrics for his Catastrophic Organ Failure and Bad Tempered Clavier.


Sarah started writing publicly through blogging and was selected to guest blog for Caitlin Moran’s website for the launch of her books How to be a Woman and Moranthology.

From there, she was selected as a keynote blogger for a national conference and went on to be a finalist in the BiB Awards (writing category) and her food blog, What Would Nigella Do? was shortlisted and a finalist (food category).
